Adam Carrigan

Adam Carrigan is the Co-Founder and COO of MindsDB, an open-source artificial intelligence platform based in Berkeley, California. Since establishing the company in November 2017, Carrigan has helped scale the data infrastructure startup to secure over $50 million in total venture capital. The Y Combinator Winter 2020 alumni recently closed a $25 million funding round led by Benchmark in February 2023, followed by an additional $16 million investment later that year. Prior to his current venture, Carrigan worked as a Management Consultant at Deloitte UK and served as the CEO of Real Life Analytics. He holds a master's degree from the University of Cambridge, where he also worked as a researcher, and a bachelor's degree from the Australian National University. Carrigan's current focus centers on expanding developer tools that integrate machine learning models directly into enterprise databases.
