Abhik Pramanik

Abhik Pramanik is the Co-Founder and VP of Engineering at Ashby, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He co-founded the applicant tracking system and recruiting platform alongside Benjamin Encz in 2018, helping scale the enterprise to secure over $70 million in total venture funding, including a $30 million Series C round in 2024. Prior to launching Ashby, Pramanik served as a Senior Product Manager at software startups PlanGrid and Lob, where his product development initiatives drove millions in revenue. Earlier in his career, he worked in the visual effects industry as a software engineer, building complex physics engines for major film studios Industrial Light & Magic and DreamWorks Animation. Pramanik leverages over 15 years of software development experience, with a current focus on engineering leadership and building scalable human resources technology.
