Abhi Rajendran

Abhi Rajendran is the Director of Oil Markets Research at Energy Intelligence and a Nonresident Fellow at Rice University's Baker Institute. He leads the firm's ten-year forecasting for global oil supply, demand, and pricing while contributing to strategic advisory engagements. Prior to joining Energy Intelligence in 2017, Rajendran spent two years as an energy investor following a seven-year tenure as a sell-side Equity Research Analyst. During this period, he spent five years at Credit Suisse covering infrastructure, liquefied natural gas, and chemical markets. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science and economics from Cornell University and a master's degree in information systems management from Carnegie Mellon University. His current work focuses on traditional oil and gas fundamentals, corporate financial strategy, and the broader low-carbon energy transition.
