Aaron Villalpando Gonzalez

Aaron Villalpando Gonzalez is the Founder of Boundary, an artificial intelligence infrastructure startup based in Seattle, Washington. He established the five-person company as part of the Y Combinator Winter 2023 cohort to develop BAML, a specialized programming language designed specifically for AI-powered applications and autonomous agents. Prior to founding Boundary, Gonzalez spent nearly a decade working as a full-stack software engineer, primarily focused on architecting and scaling enterprise-grade distributed systems for AWS. During his extended tenure at the cloud computing provider, he also launched high-traffic consumer-facing products for Prime Video and secured multiple patents for his technical inventions. He subsequently contributed to machine learning infrastructure and developer experience optimization at Gloo. Gonzalez currently focuses on building scalable developer tools that bridge the gap between traditional software engineering and modern artificial intelligence capabilities.
