Aaron Hannon

Aaron Hannon is the Co-Founder and CEO of Luminate Medical, a healthcare technology company based in Galway, Ireland. At Luminate Medical, he oversees the development of wearable medical devices designed to prevent chemotherapy-induced side effects, supported by over $5 million in seed funding. Hannon initially studied software and electronic engineering at the University of Galway before leaving his academic studies to pursue entrepreneurship. In 2020, he was selected for the Thiel Fellowship, receiving a $100,000 grant to focus entirely on building his startup. He subsequently led the company through the Y Combinator accelerator program in 2021 and was recognized on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list for Science and Healthcare in 2022. His current focus remains on engineering patient-first oncology wearables that improve the clinical experience for individuals undergoing cancer treatment.
