Aaron Cheung

Aaron Cheung is the CEO and Co-founder of Homeaglow, a home cleaning service platform based in San Francisco, California. He previously co-founded Homejoy alongside his sister Adora Cheung, taking the on-demand cleaning startup through Y Combinator in 2013. Before ceasing operations in July 2015, Homejoy raised over $40 million in venture capital from firms including Kleiner Perkins and Menlo Ventures, ultimately serving more than 100,000 customers. Shortly after Homejoy's closure, Cheung launched Homeaglow to iterate on the gig economy marketplace model, scaling the new platform to operate in over 50 United States cities with thousands of independent cleaners. The company expanded into additional markets in 2024, and Cheung was recently featured in a 2025 Forbes article discussing the revival of the home services sector. His entrepreneurial background centers on building and scaling tech-enabled consumer marketplaces within the on-demand home services industry.
