Established July 28, 1992, as Shanghai Zhangjiang InnoPark Development Company, the group emerged from the strategic insight to create a dedicated zone for scientific and technological advancement. This initiative aimed to construct a world-class science city, supporting an environment conducive to innovation and startup growth.

Zhangjiang Group primarily serves an ecosystem of over 24,000 companies, R&D institutes, multinational corporations, universities, and over 400,000 talents.
