The group leverages the Michigan Capital Network's professional back office for operational efficiency.

Established in March 2019, Woodward Angels emerged from a collaboration between Grand Angels and a consortium of Detroit investors. This addressed a critical gap in Detroit's entrepreneurial ecosystem, providing essential early capital. The insight was to bridge the funding divide for nascent companies transitioning from seed rounds to Series A.
