Var Business Angels functions as a regional investment network, channeling private capital and strategic guidance to innovative startups and developing companies. The network's operational support encompasses human resources, commercial expansion, and communications, directly facilitating portfolio companies' scale-up.

Established in Toulon in early 2008, Var Business Angels emerged from the collective vision of TVT Innovation's partners. Recognizing a gap in local financial engineering, this initiative complemented TVT Innovation's incubation services for regional SMEs, providing dedicated capital access for accelerated startups.

The network primarily serves innovative ventures from TVT Innovation’s accelerator programs. Members partner closely with management teams, contributing financial investment, expertise, and professional networks. The overarching vision is to identify, nurture, and accelerate the growth of the region's most promising enterprises, strengthening the local innovation ecosystem.
