The Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund (UMAEF) is a U.S. government-backed regional fund fostering economic development in Ukraine and Moldova. It provides direct investments to Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) and supports early-stage technology startups. UMAEF also funds innovation and entrepreneurship programs, leveraging U.S. capital and expertise to build competitive regional economies.

Established by the U.S. Congress in 1994 and funded via USAID, UMAEF began as the Western NIS Enterprise Fund.
