Synthetic Sciences is a Y Combinator-backed company that claude Code for Scientific Research. The company participated in the Winter 2026 batch of Y Combinator.

We're building the infrastructure for the future AI co-scientist, starting with computational research. Our core thesis is that powerful AI scientists require two things built together: a human-centered product that generates high-quality process data, and the research infrastructure to turn that data into increasingly autonomous systems. We're building both.

Synthetic Sciences was part of Y Combinator's Winter 2026 cohort, has a team of approximately 2 employees, and is actively operating.
