Strada Education Network

Strada Education Foundation is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to creating clearer pathways from education to fulfilling employment. It operates through human-centered research, strategic grantmaking, and policy solutions. The foundation focuses on clear career outcomes, quality coaching, affordability, work-based learning, and employer alignment to support learners through these critical areas.

The foundation’s origins trace to United Student Aid Funds, established in 1960 to provide student loans for education access. Following a federal loan program's end, USA Funds sold assets in 2010. These proceeds funded Strada Education Network in 2017, rebranding to Strada Education Foundation in 2022, reflecting its endowment-funded, nonprofit mission.

Strada engages with learners, educators, employers, and policymakers to build an integrated postsecondary education and training ecosystem. Its vision is for all individuals to successfully navigate their path to a quality education and a rewarding career. The foundation strives to ensure equitable opportunities are universally accessible.
