Launched by Social Impact gGmbH in January 2018, StartHope@Home arose from the insight that returning individuals need robust economic pathways for re-establishment. This led to its October 2020 adoption as a central component of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees' return preparation measures, aligning its model with national support strategies for reintegration efforts.
