Regenerate Ventures

Regenera Ventures operates as an impact fund, providing flexible capital and technical support across Mexico's regenerative value chain. It invests in companies across regenerative agriculture, forestry, aquaculture, food systems, and related enablers. Through redeemable equity and tailored guidance, the fund helps businesses scale regenerative management, fostering climate resilience, biodiversity, and stronger local economies.

The Regenera Ventures Fund launched through the USAID-funded Sustainable Landscapes Ventures Program, implemented by Conservation International Mexico. Stevie Smyth and Laura Ortiz Montemayor of SVX Mexico shaped its formation. This initiative addresses financing and expertise gaps for Mexico’s agricultural regenerative transition.

Regenera Ventures targets Mexican communities, cooperatives, and SMEs adopting regenerative practices, notably those underserved by traditional financing. Its mission is to mainstream regenerative management across the agricultural sector, building rural resilience and generating sustainable returns. The fund envisions integrated healthy ecosystems, social equity, and economic opportunity, with expansion across Latin America.
