The Ontario Vehicle Innovation Network (OVIN) accelerates commercialization of next-generation electric, connected, and autonomous vehicle technologies, alongside smart mobility solutions. OVIN fosters commercialization of advanced automotive technologies made in Ontario, positioning the province as a leader in development, testing, and adoption. It supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in bringing innovative mobility products to market.

OVIN originated as a cornerstone of "Driving Prosperity," the Government of Ontario's strategy to elevate the province in the evolving automotive and mobility sector. Overseen by the Ontario Centre of Innovation (OCI) and supported by provincial ministries, its formation recognized the need to integrate Ontario's manufacturing with emerging technological advancements for economic competitiveness.

The network engages diverse clientele, including SMEs, industry, academic researchers, and municipalities, facilitating collaboration across automotive and technology landscapes.
