Founded in 1987 by brothers Mahesh, Sharad, and Ajay Amalean, MAS Holdings evolved from their 1984 venture, Sigma Industries. The Amaleans began with $10,000 and 40 sewing machines, recognizing an opportunity in scalable apparel production. This insight, plus an early joint venture for synthetic dresses, underpins their manufacturing model.
