Kopter Group AG originated as Marenco Swiss Helicopter, founded in 2007 by Martin Stucki. Stucki envisioned a new family of powerful, economical, and safe helicopters. Lynwood (Schweiz) AG acquired Kopter, providing financial backing and strategic oversight to mature the SH09 program.

Kopter's SH09, suitable for civil and parapublic applications, served diverse operators. Lynwood (Schweiz) AG's strategy fostered aerospace innovation, bringing new technology to market.
