Kiwoom Asset Management provides asset management, public fund management, investment advisory, and discretionary investment services from its headquarters in Seoul, South Korea. The firm manages mutual funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and private equity, with a strategic focus on expanding its ETF market share, including establishing an office in Vietnam in 2018. It operates with a capital of US$57.2 million and employs 235 individuals. Leadership includes CEO Ki Hyun Kim, appointed in 2024, following predecessors such as Seong Hoon Kim, Hyun Lee, and Sooyoung Yoon. The company also launched Kiwoom Private Equity Corporation in 2017. Kiwoom Asset Management was originally established on March 26, 1988, and later re-formed through a merger of Woori Asset Management and Kiwoom Asset Management on December 1, 2014.
