JLS Fund

JLS Fund is a New York, United States-based venture capital firm that invests in early-stage companies developing neuroscience-based treatments, particularly focused on psychedelic medicines and plant-based therapies for mental health and neuropsychiatric disorders. The fund finances and helps build companies translating breakthroughs in neuroscience, technology, and data into patient outcomes, managing a portfolio of six companies. JLS Fund notably achieved a $1.2 billion acquisition when its portfolio company Gilgamesh Pharmaceuticals was acquired by AbbVie, demonstrating successful translation of scientific advancements. As one of the first venture funds in the psychedelics and neuromedicine sectors, JLS Fund focuses on addressing unmet needs in neuropsychiatric disorder treatments. The firm was founded in 2019 by Managing Partners Michael Gruber, Lindsay Hoover, and Simeon Schnapper.
