IQ Protocol is a decentralized money market platform enabling NFT rentals, blockchain subscriptions, and rent-to-own models for digital assets without collateral, based in Tallinn, Estonia. The platform allows users to access Web3 gaming items and exclusive experiences, while asset holders earn by providing liquidity through its token-based ecosystem. It supports wrapped expirable versions of NFTs and DeFi tokens for utility purposes, with $IQT used for staking, DAO governance, and liquidity provision. The organization closed a $12 million fundraising round in March 2022, led by Crypto.com Capital and Republic Capital. Other investors include Kronos Research and Genblock Capital, alongside angel investors Sandeep Nailwal (Polygon founder) and Richmond Theo (Paxos founder). IQ Protocol launched in mid-2021. Its business model centers on token-based ecosystem with $IQT for staking, DAO governance, and liquidity provision, funded through venture capital raises.
