Innovation Valley Partners (IVP) is an affiliate venture capital fund based in Knoxville, Tennessee, United States, investing in early-stage technology companies. The fund manages $35 million, participating proportionately in deals alongside its parent fund, Battelle Ventures, which brings the combined assets under management to $255 million. IVP targets breakthrough solutions across energy & environment, security, and health & life sciences sectors. Its investment strategy is closely aligned with Battelle Ventures, whose sole limited partner is the Battelle Memorial Institute. Tracy Warren serves as a General Partner for Battelle Ventures, overseeing a portion of these investments. Innovation Valley Partners was launched in 2005 by a group of Knoxville business leaders. Its business model centers on funded as an affiliate of the $220-million Battelle Ventures fund, with backing from Eastern Tennessee business leaders, invests in early-stage tech companies.
