Innovation Park Artificial Intelligence (IPAI), based in Heilbronn, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, is an innovation platform fostering collaboration between research, AI development, and industry to advance ethical and sustainable AI. Primarily funded by the Dieter Schwarz Foundation and Schwarz Group, with 50 million euros from the state, IPAI employs around 60 people and partners with over 80 organizations. The initiative is developing a 23-hectare campus for 5,000 people, serving as a real-world testing ground for AI applications, with its 6,000 sqm IPAI Spaces opening in summer 2024. Key partners include Audi, Porsche, Vodafone, SCHUNK, and Fraunhofer IAO; Moritz Gräter is CEO. Founded in 2018 as an initiative by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economics, Labor and Tourism, the site was approved in 2021.
