Innovate Indiana Fund

The Innovate Indiana Fund is a venture fund based in Bloomington, Indiana, that invests in technologies discovered at Indiana University to commercialize research into businesses benefiting the state. It provides crucial early-stage and late-stage capital, aiming to bridge funding gaps for high-potential ventures originating from IU faculty, researchers, students, staff, and alumni across its eight campuses and nine medical centers. Managed by IU Ventures, the fund actively supports the development of Indiana's broader entrepreneurial ecosystem by fostering the growth of these university-affiliated innovations. The fund was initially capitalized with $10 million, strategically deploying this capital into promising IU-affiliated startups and technologies to drive economic impact. Established in 2009, the Innovate Indiana Fund was founded by IURTC, which is now known as IU Ventures.
