Indigo Ventures

Indigo Ventures is the corporate venture capital arm of IndiGo Airlines, based in Gurugram, India, investing in early-stage startups across aviation, aerospace, travel, and logistics. Operating as a Category AIF venture capital fund, it was established with an initial corpus of ₹450 crore (approximately $54 million), anchored by ₹300 crore from IndiGo Airlines, and can raise up to ₹600 crore. The firm provides capital, operational expertise, and ecosystem support, typically seeking 5-10% stakes in pre-Series A to Series B rounds to strengthen IndiGo's network and foster industry growth. Its first known investment was in Hyderabad-based Jeh Aerospace, a company that subsequently raised $100 million. Key figures associated with the venture include IndiGo founders Rahul Bhatia and Rakesh Gangwal, alongside Neetan Chopra, Ankit Sharma, and Vineet Mittal. Indigo Ventures was established in August 2024 by Neetan Chopra.
