IIM Calcutta Innovation Park (IIMCIP) operates as a not-for-profit company dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship and innovation. The organization provides a structured ecosystem that supports startups across various maturity stages through immersion, pre-incubation, incubation, and acceleration programs. It offers critical resources, mentorship, and a conducive environment to help budding ventures transform initial ideas into commercially viable and impactful businesses.

Established under the esteemed aegis of the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, IIMCIP was founded around 2015 as a Section 8 company. The foundational insight behind its creation was to leverage IIM Calcutta's academic and intellectual capital to actively promote innovation, cultivate socially impactful entrepreneurs, and drive livelihood generation across India, especially in the East and North-East regions.

IIMCIP serves a diverse clientele, including aspiring entrepreneurs, early-stage startups, and women-led rural enterprises.
