Igniter is a faith-focused creative media company that provides sermon illustration videos, graphics for services and social media, and a stock media marketplace through its Igniter Media and Lightstock brands. The company connects churches to a network of over 1,700 content creators, offering fresh visual media to help church leaders communicate effectively. Originally founded as Vertical Sky Productions, Igniter has evolved its offerings from initial church service videos to adapt to shifts in church communication technologies. In 2012, Igniter expanded its portfolio by acquiring Graceway Media, a company founded by Jon and Josh Bailey. More recently, on September 30, 2025, Igniter was acquired by Gloo and will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary, with current president and COO Ross Moshell leading the entity. Igniter was founded in 2003 by Rob Thomas.
