i&i Prague

i&i Prague is a biotech incubator and investor based in Prague, Czech Republic, focused on scouting and supporting academic projects in drug discovery, diagnostics, and MedTech through pre-seed and seed phases. Operating as a wholly-owned subsidiary of IOCB Tech, its funding derives from royalties on IOCB's license agreements, including an estimated $100 million annual stream from technologies like Antonín Holý's anti-HIV drugs. Its i&i Biotech Fund manages approximately €47 million, earmarked for investments in around 20 early-stage life science companies, primarily from Central and Eastern Europe. Key personnel include CEO Jiří Moos and Board Chairman Milan Prášil, with recent activity including an exit from portfolio company Elphogene. The fund also attracted nearly €2 million from investors such as Ondřej Bartoš of Credo Ventures and Jaroslav Řasa of ABRA Software. i&i Prague was established in 2017.
