Morgan Stanley Huaxin Funds is a mutual fund management company based in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China, offering diversified investment services, including fixed income, active equity, quantitative equity, and multi-asset strategies, to retail and institutional clients within the Chinese market. The firm manages an AUM of CNY 27.7 billion (approximately USD 4 billion) as of the end of Q2, reflecting a year-over-year decline of over 30%. Formerly a joint venture with Huaxin Securities, the company is transitioning to full ownership by Morgan Stanley, a global financial services firm managing over $1.3 trillion in assets. Todd Coltman was appointed Chairman on September 6. The organization was originally established in 2003 as Jutian Fund Management, subsequently forming its joint venture with Morgan Stanley in 2008.
