HDFC Bank is a major private sector commercial bank in India, headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, providing extensive retail and corporate banking services, including deposit accounts, loans, and investment products, across India and internationally. Following its merger with HDFC Ltd in July 2023, the bank achieved a market capitalization of $154 billion, positioning it as the seventh most valuable bank globally and the second-largest in India by assets. It operates through a vast network of 8,300 branches and 21,417 ATMs, serving a customer base of 120 million with a workforce of 177,000 employees.
