Hammer Technologies, based in Billerica, Massachusetts, provides testing and monitoring solutions for voice quality, contact center equipment, and enterprise communications networks, specializing in network automation software for telecommunications infrastructure performance and reliability. The company's carrier-grade products serve mobile, cable, and telecom operators globally. The company, formerly Empirix, rebranded as Hammer in October 2022 and updated its legal entity to Hammer Technologies Inc. in January 2024. Acquired by Infovista in April 2021, Hammer operates as a key part of the Infovista group, majority-owned by Apax Partners France (now Seven2). Collectively, they serve over 1,700 customers across more than 150 countries, including 23 of the top 30 Communications Service Providers, contributing to Infovista's team of over 1,000 professionals. Hammer Technologies was founded in late 1991 by Steve Gladstone and John Kuenzig.
