Grupo Cisneros is a privately held conglomerate based in Coral Gables, Florida, with a global presence across media and entertainment, interactive/digital advertising, real estate, and new technologies. Originating as a transportation company in Caracas, Venezuela, the organization diversified into consumer products like Pepsi bottling before becoming a major Spanish-language media entity. Under the leadership of former Chairman Gustavo Cisneros, who passed away in 2023, its portfolio included significant holdings such as Venevisión and a past investment in Univision. Current CEO Adriana Cisneros has overseen a restructuring into four core business units, continuing its focus on Hispanic and Latin American markets. The group's operations span various sectors, from content production to digital ventures and real estate. Grupo Cisneros was founded in 1929 by Diego Cisneros.
