Global Hands-On VC is a venture capital firm based in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Japan, that invests in early-stage Japanese technology startups and facilitates their expansion into international markets. The organization operates by providing its portfolio companies with direct operational support in critical areas such as executive talent acquisition, achieving product-market fit, and securing subsequent financing rounds. Operating with a core team of one to ten employees, the firm currently manages GHOVC Fund I, which has successfully secured approximately 5 billion yen in total capital commitments. This inaugural investment vehicle is financially backed by prominent corporate limited partners, including Sojitz Corporation, Sompo Light Vortex Corporation, SunBridge Corporation, and the investment firm AI Capital. Global Hands-On VC was founded in 2022 by Ken Yasunaga and Shri Dodani, alongside partners with executive experience at Oracle Japan and Salesforce Japan.
