Founded in 2025 as a spinoff from the Medal gaming platform by Pim de Witte, General Intuition is an artificial intelligence research laboratory developing foundation models and agents for environments requiring deep spatial and temporal reasoning. It trains models using a massive dataset of video game clips to understand object movement through space and time, enabling them to predict actions in untrained environments using visual input alone. The firm secured more than $133 million in an October 2025 seed funding round led by Khosla Ventures and General Catalyst, with additional participation from Lightspeed Ventures and Raine.
