Future Creation Fund

Future Creation Fund, managed by Tokyo-based SPARX Group, is a dedicated venture capital vehicle focused on investing in early-stage technology companies developing artificial intelligence, advanced robotics, and hydrogen-related energy solutions. The broader investment platform operates across multiple fund generations, currently managing over $1 billion in total assets under management to support global technological innovation. The fund executes its strategy with significant capital backing from major corporate limited partners, primarily anchored by strategic commitments from Toyota Motor Corporation and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation. Its active investment portfolio features several prominent emerging technology enterprises, including autonomous driving software developer Tier IV, lunar exploration company ispace, and Japanese deep learning startup Preferred Networks. The inaugural Future Creation Fund was officially established in 2015 under the direct leadership of SPARX Group founder and chief executive officer Shuhei Abe.
