Founded in 2014 by Steven Uster, Deepak Ramachandran, and Graham McBride, FundThrough provides invoice factoring services that allow small and medium-sized businesses to sell unpaid invoices for upfront working capital. Based in Toronto, the financial technology company operates across North America, having successfully processed over $240 million in advanced invoices for a user base of more than 2,000 founders. Operating with a team of approximately 27 employees, the firm generates its revenue by purchasing these commercial invoices at a discount to help entrepreneurs manage cash flow challenges. FundThrough significantly expanded its United States operations by acquiring the invoice factoring business of Silicon Valley competitor BlueVine. To support this rapid growth, the enterprise secured financial backing from notable investors including Real Ventures, ScaleUP Ventures, and David Mirvish, raising $2,200,000 in 2015 and another $4,600,000 in 2016.
