Fondo per l’Imprenditoria Femminile is a Rome-based government initiative that provides grants and zero-interest loans to support the creation and development of women-led businesses across Italy. The organization operates with a total funding allocation of €400 million sourced from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), following an initial budget of €40 million for the 2021 to 2022 period. It targets micro and small enterprises across sectors such as manufacturing, commerce, tourism, and high-tech, offering financial support for projects up to €250,000 for new businesses and €400,000 for existing companies. The fund is administered by the Ministero delle Imprese e del Made in Italy, with operational management and application processing handled by the state-owned investment agency Invitalia S.p.A. Fondo per l’Imprenditoria Femminile was officially established in 2021 through the Italian national government's Budget Law.
