Founded by Manu Nair, Prashant Sharma, and Shubhayu Sardar, the aerospace startup has secured $130 million in signed launch agreements before its planned 2027 technology demonstration flight. In January 2026, the firm closed a $20,500,000 Series A funding round at an $80,500,000 post-money valuation, following a $5 million seed round in August 2024. The recent financing was led by TDK Ventures and BIG Capital, with previous backing from Accel, Prosus, and YourNest, while its early customer base includes international entities like Japan's Space BD and Taiwan's TASA. To support its development timeline for commercial missions by late 2028, the enterprise is establishing a 150-acre manufacturing campus in Andhra Pradesh alongside an existing testing facility in Tamil Nadu.
