EOS Network Ventures originated from strategic initiatives of the EOS Network Foundation (ENF). Yves La Rose founded the ENF in August 2021, following community consensus among EOS block producers to revitalize the network. La Rose's insight into the need for independent stewardship and targeted financial support directly led to ENV's establishment, providing funding and guidance to aligned projects.

EOS Network Ventures primarily supports Web3 developers and projects building within the EOS blockchain environment.
