ENERGIIQ

ENERGIIQ is an energy innovation fund providing tailored financial instruments to advance the energy transition. It offers equity and loans to small and medium-sized enterprises and startups commercializing proven energy innovations. The fund targets ventures with significant CO2 reduction or a primary presence, R&D, or production in South Holland.

Established in 2015 by the Province of South Holland, ENERGIIQ originated from the conviction that entrepreneurial innovation is vital for a clean, sustainable energy future. Managed by InnovationQuarter, its creation aimed to accelerate the regional energy transition by deploying public capital to catalyze private sector environmental technologies.

ENERGIIQ supports innovative startups and growth-stage SMEs focused on energy solutions. By supplying essential capital and leveraging a network of co-investors and partners, the fund aims to maximize portfolio company expansion. Its long-term vision is to contribute significantly to a sustainable energy landscape in South Holland, driving ecological advancement and economic vitality.
