The organization was founded in 2016, a collaborative effort by the Women Donors Network and Solidaire Network. This initiative stemmed from the insight that agile funding was crucial for swift resource deployment. Its founders sought a platform for donors to efficiently support grassroots movements addressing time-sensitive opportunities.
