Based in Planegg near Munich, Germany, DyeMansion develops automated post-processing solutions that provide cleaning, surfacing, and coloring technologies for industrial polymer 3D-printed parts. The venture-backed company operates across 42 countries with a workforce of 95 employees and has successfully deployed over 1,000 automated finishing machines globally. Its proprietary systems enable manufacturers to scale additive manufacturing for mass production, serving an active base of 425 customers that includes recognizable corporate clients such as BMW, Under Armour, and ZEISS Vision Care. To support its ongoing international expansion and hardware product development, the enterprise secured $5 million in Series A funding from lead investors UVC Partners and AM Ventures. DyeMansion was originally established in 2015 by co-founders Felix Ewald and Philipp Kramer following a strategic corporate pivot from their previous consumer smartphone case 3D-printing venture.
