Downsizer is a Sydney, Australia-based digital proptech platform that enables homeowners aged 55 and older to purchase new off-the-plan properties using the equity in their current homes without requiring a cash deposit. The company targets a domestic Australian market of approximately 1.7 million potential downsizing individuals over a five-year period, while also serving property developers, real estate agents, and vendors. Operating with a small team of several full-time employees, the early-stage startup partners with financial provider Deposit Power to issue its proprietary Downsizer Bond.
