Established in 2013 by Innovate UK, Digital Catapult forms a key part of the UK government’s Catapult Network. This initiative emerged from the insight that dedicated centers were vital to bridge the gap between innovative research and commercial deployment. Its founding built national infrastructure for technology transfer, fostering collaboration and de-risking novel technology adoption.
