Curve Therapeutics is a Southampton, UK-based biotechnology company that develops a gene-encoded Microcycle discovery platform to conduct high-throughput functional screening of cyclic peptide libraries in live mammalian cells. The proprietary technology identifies biologically active molecules against hard-to-drug intracellular targets to generate first-in-class therapeutics primarily focused on oncology, immunology, inflammation, and neurology. Operating with a workforce of 10 to 50 employees, the enterprise advances its clinical pipeline through both internal development and external research collaborations. To support these ongoing operations, the company secured £40.5 million in Series A financing led by Pfizer Ventures, alongside additional participation from Advent Life Sciences and Epidarex Capital. Furthermore, the firm maintains a strategic drug discovery partnership with major pharmaceutical corporation MSD to expand its research capabilities. Curve Therapeutics was founded in 2019 by Professor Ali Tavassoli and Simon Kerry.
