Cervello is a Tel Aviv, Israel-based cybersecurity company that develops real-time threat monitoring, vulnerability detection, and incident response solutions specifically designed for railway infrastructure, IT networks, and rolling stock. The venture-backed startup operates with a team of 31 employees, primarily based in its research and development headquarters, and has raised $19 million in total funding. The enterprise platform can be deployed as a standalone solution or integrated during the manufacturing process to protect critical signaling systems. The company is backed by lead investors North First Ventures and Awz Ventures, providing its zero-trust security architecture to major rail operators. Notably, the firm partnered with Swiss Federal Railways to become the first cybersecurity provider to secure rail infrastructure across an entire country. Cervello was founded in 2017 by Israeli Defense Force veterans Roie Onn, Shaked Kafzan, and Nadav Avidan.
