Based in Lebanon, New Hampshire, CairnSurgical is a clinical-stage medical technology company that develops patient-specific 3D-printed surgical guides using pre-operative MRI scans to enable precise tumor localization during cancer surgeries. The pre-revenue enterprise currently operates with fewer than 25 employees and focuses primarily on its lead product, the Breast Cancer Locator, which is designed to reduce positive margins and re-excision rates. The organization recently secured a $4.5 million Series A2 venture funding round to support its ongoing United States pivotal trials and European commercialization efforts. CairnSurgical has received financial backing and institutional support from recognizable entities including Morningside Ventures, Celdara Medical, the National Cancer Institute, and the New Hampshire Innovation Research Center.
