C3 Exchange is a self-custodial cryptocurrency exchange that combines the execution speed of traditional centralized trading platforms with the security of decentralized finance, operating as a fully remote organization. The trading platform utilizes a hybrid architecture that processes trades off-chain for high throughput while settling all transactions on-chain to ensure users maintain complete cryptographic control over their digital assets. To support its technical development and broader market expansion, the company secured $6 million in an initial seed funding round led by Two Sigma Ventures. This early-stage financing also included strategic capital participation from several institutional trading firms and global market makers, specifically Jane Street Capital, Hudson River Trading, and Flow Traders. Operating across multiple blockchain networks to provide broad asset compatibility, C3 Exchange was officially founded in 2022 by co-founders Michel Dahdah and Pablo Larguia.
