BukuKas is a Jakarta, Indonesia-based financial technology company that provides a digital ledger application to help micro, small, and medium enterprises digitize their daily bookkeeping and track cash flow. The platform has scaled rapidly to serve 6.3 million registered businesses and 3 million monthly active users, processing an annualized transaction volume of $25.9 billion as of late 2021. Beyond its core free accounting software, the company expanded its operational footprint by acquiring the competing digital ledger app Catatan Keuangan Harian and launching an e-commerce storefront builder named Tokko. The enterprise has raised approximately $71 million in total venture capital, including a $50 million Series B funding round, backed by prominent institutional investors such as Sequoia Capital India, Credit Saison, and Speedinvest. BukuKas was founded in December 2019 by entrepreneurs Krishnan Menon and Lorenzo Peracchione.
