Blast Security

Based in Tel Aviv, Israel, Blast Security develops a preemptive cloud defense platform that identifies vulnerabilities and enforces preventive guardrails before software deployment. The enterprise software-as-a-service solution replaces reactive threat detection with continuous prevention, reportedly reducing overall cloud risk by over 90 percent across various customer environments. The startup recently emerged from stealth operations with $10 million in initial seed funding co-led by venture capital firms 10D Capital and MizMaa Ventures. The platform is currently utilized to secure complex production environments for global enterprise clients, including the international transportation technology company Via. The executive team previously established the enterprise cybersecurity firm Solebit, which was subsequently acquired by Mimecast to expand its security portfolio. Blast Security was founded in 2025 by chief executive officer Boris Vaynberg, chief product officer Ido Bukra, and chief technology officer Roi Panai.
