Based in Pavia, Italy, BeNewtral develops and manufactures clinker-free binders that substitute traditional cement in commercial and residential construction materials. The company's flagship product, Rebind, utilizes a cold manufacturing process incorporating 70 percent industrial by-products to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by up to 90 percent while maintaining fire resistance and high mechanical performance. Operating a newly acquired pilot plant with a production capacity exceeding 25,000 tonnes per year, the firm supplies sustainable, certified materials directly to producers of prefabricated elements and road regeneration infrastructure projects. BeNewtral has raised €10.5 million in total venture capital funding to scale its commercial operations, including a recent €7 million financing round backed by lead investors CDP Venture Capital, NovaCapital, and Eureka! Venture. The industrial enterprise was originally established under the name Rehouseit in 2020 by co-founders Riccardo Frezzato and Nicolò Verardi.
